HiBAR Solid Conditioner Volumize View product

This solid shampoo bar is perfect for thin, fine or lifeless hair. It brings body and fullness without adding weight, and making your hair feel heavy. It provides frizz control, and reduces flyaways.

The Volumize formula is enriched with African dates and Vitamin B5 for added definition to curls and waves.

In case you wonder 'Is HiBAR soap?' The answer is 'Nope'. We love to bust a rhyme:) Soap and shampoo are chemically very different. Soap is pretty bad for your hair. HiBAR is genuine shampoo and conditioner, just like the good stuff you use right now, only with the water removed. Because there's already water in your shower, right? That's why it's solid, and that's why it doesn't need the plastic bottle. Goodbye plastic, hello HiBAR!

Extra bonus: All HiBAR products are color-safe and curly girl method approved.

How to use

Rub the angled side of HiBAR on wet hair, for a nice all-over lather. Work into your hair and scalp. Rinse. Follow up with HiBAR Volumize Conditioner.

HiBAR shampoo lathers up really quickly, whether you apply it directly to your wet hair, or if you rub it in your palms and then into your hair. HiBAR conditioner works the same way, but because of its unique solid formulation, it will take a few seconds more to spread through your hair.

Store your HiBAR just the same way you'd store a soap bar in your shower - dry, away from direct water. HiBARs are designed to sit upright, helping it shed any moisture.

Wanna take you HiBAR on a trip? While you can always pack your HiBAR in a hard, protective case, we find the best way to bring HiBAR along for the ride is this: 1. Pat HiBAR dry before packing. 2. Wrap it in a face towel. 3. Stow away amongst your clothes. 4. Go!

Nora, Jay, Ward and Dion - 4 friends and fellow-optimists got talking one night and realized they’d all been working separately on the same project: getting rid of plastic in the bathroom. So they officially banded together to re-engineer how people wash and care for their hair. After a lot of trial and error, working with a team of hair care professionals, HiBAR was born. Solid shampoos and conditioners that skip the need for plastic packaging. No plastic. Just beautiful hair. Huzzah!

HiBAR uses zero-plastic packaging which is recyclable & compostable. They use plant-based inks.
